| SIGHT SEEING IN AND AROUND HAKUBA |

In spring, you don't want to miss the cherry blossoms around Hakuba and
early evening is a great time to take a trip to Matsumoto castle, a national
treasure and beautiful temple that is one of the famous places here to
see in Nagano.
In summer, it's good idea to go for a walk to find rare alpine flowers,
get on the hot balloon, or watch the major fantastic firework festival
at night. |
In autumn, you can see the leaves turn to red, orange or yellow, then North
alps and all Hakuba is going to be colored like burning.
In winter, see the wonderful powder snow in Hakuba or visit the famous
natural hot springs in and around Hakuba known as ONSEN.

We also have a good friend in Hakuba who is living in a very old Japanese
traditional house that is over 150 years old.
We can arrange for you to go there and have a lunch or dinner with free
pick up service.
Hands-on craft making workshops are also a good idea for raining day, and
there are also interesting museums and art galleries in and around Hakuba. |
